Urban Layers, a Residence in Athens

Organized through vertical layering, this residence in Athens articulates domestic space as a sequence of thresholds from street to interior. The architecture emphasizes depth, shadow, and material continuity, offering privacy while maintaining a clear urban presence.

This residence in Athens is conceived as a composition of layered volumes that negotiate privacy, light, and urban density. Recessed balconies and textured façades modulate the building’s presence toward the street, while a restrained material palette anchors the house within its neighborhood. The project explores domestic life as a sequence of protected outdoor and indoor spaces within the city.
