Terraced Silence: A Residence in Porto Cheli

Set against the sloping terrain of Porto Cheli, this residence articulates a quiet dialogue between mass and void, enclosure and exposure.

The composition unfolds through a series of interlocking volumes—light-toned stone, glass, and metal—each calibrated to frame the landscape and modulate the Aegean light. An external stair traces the building’s edge like a drawn line, connecting levels while choreographing movement and pause. The architecture resists spectacle, favouring restraint and elemental clarity, offering a contemplative retreat where domestic life merges with the rhythms of the coastal horizon.
